U-filter

U-shaped filter is an indispensable device on the transmission medium pipeline, usually installed in the pressure reducing valve, pressure relief valve, fixed level valve or other equipment at the inlet end, used to eliminate impurities in the medium to protect the normal use of valves and equipment. When the fluid enters the filter cartridge with a certain specification filter screen, the impurities are blocked, and the clean filtrate is discharged from the filter outlet, when it needs to be cleaned, as long as the removable filter cartridge is taken out and re-loaded after treatment, therefore, the use and maintenance is very convenient.

Operation Procedure

 Put the filter valve before sewage discharge, turn down the flow rate, and discharge the sewage
 When sewage is discharged, the steering valve turns to the flushing direction, the water enters from the front of the steering valve, flows to the outside of the filter screen, and then enters the back of the steering valve from the outside of the filter screen, all the debris is concentrated on the sewage outlet, and then open the sewage valve for sewage discharge, playing the best automatic backwashing filter all functions.

Points of selection

Inlet and outlet diameter: in principle, the inlet and outlet diameter of the filter should not be less than the inlet diameter of the matching pump, generally consistent with the inlet pipe diameter.
Nominal pressure: Determine the pressure level of the filter according to the maximum possible pressure of the filter pipeline.
The selection of the number of holes: mainly consider the particle size of the impurities to be intercepted, according to the process requirements of the medium process. The particle size of various specifications can be intercepted by the screen check the following table "filter specifications".
Filter material: The material of the filter is generally the same as the material of the connected process pipe, and the cast iron, carbon steel, low alloy steel or stainless steel filters can be considered for different service conditions.
Filter resistance loss calculation: water filter, in the general calculation of rated flow rate, the pressure loss is 0.52 ~ 1.2kpa
